The Rockingham Forest is a distinctive area of the Northamptonshire countryside, however, the area’s attractive landscape and seeming prosperity belies the fact that it faces profound economic, social and environmental change as a result of development pressures and agricultural restructuring.

LEADER+, known locally as Rockingham Rural Revival, is a rural development initiative to boost the rural area of the Rockingham Forest. It involves local communities in developing and testing small-scale, innovative approaches to address rural development issues. The initiative provides support, guidance and funding to enable local communities to develop and undertake their own projects.

All project money for larger scale projects (>£10,000) has now been allocated, however, if you have an idea for a smaller scale project, click on the link below for information about the Small Grants Scheme.
