This scheme has now closedThe Small Grants Scheme was launched in February 2006 as part of the Rockingham Rural Revival. The Scheme was a three year rural development initiative funded through the European Community LEADER+ Programme and Welland SSP. The Scheme ended in September 2008. The scheme proved so successful that the funds were all fully allocated by the end of September 2007. Grants were available for up to 70% of the cost of projects with a total cost of £10,000 or under. |

The Small Grants Scheme sought to address some of the challenges facing the Rockingham Forest area by supporting projects which help to protect and enhance its natural and cultural heritage, contribute to a thriving local economy, and offer innovative and sustainable approaches to development.
