People of the Forest*

Our Education Officer is working with schools in the Forest to bring the history of the Forest to life.

Nassington School investigated the local history of Old Sulehay Wood during World War 2. The children were introduced to orienteering and map work following a walk from Nassington up to the Wood. They turned detective to find evidence for the existence of a school in a Nissen hut at Old Sulehay.
