Rockingham Forest Trust...
...bringing people closer to the environment

Since 1993 the Trust’s mission has been to help keep this part of Northamptonshire beautiful, distinctive and thriving.

By including volunteers and individual communities in its practical conservation and heritage projects, the Trust is able to extend its reach across a wide area, whilst also bringing about significant improvements to individual sites under its control.

Through its site specific work in particular, the Trust is bringing people closer to the environment and helps many disadvantaged individuals and groups  to gain self-confidence, work experience and health benefits.

Conservation, Education, Support for Rural Life

Rockingham Forest Trust’s educational work reflects its wider projects, and includes school visits, community events, publications and a web-based Heritage Resource Centre.

In many of its activities the Trust works in partnership with local landowners, and other
like-minded organisations and local authorities.
